Art from the other world of Macedonia exists beyond any national boundaries - it is the multi-ethnic and deeply emotional art of the Balkans, the art of eastern Europe, the art of the Levant, the art of the eastern Mediterranean, the art of the Byzantine Empire and the art of the Ottoman lands. Art from Macedonia presents the viewer with a window to the modern legacy of ancient artistic worlds, filled with mystics and martyrs and shaped by distinct philosophies of the relationship between man, the Divine and the physical world.
MacedoniArt is based in Australia, and brings its catalogue to the world. The works of most of the artists presented here are available for private viewing by appointment, and you should note that many of our artists can be commissioned to complete works as instructed by you.
